So much for the draw theory ?
You took 2 out of 3 possibilities , the only one you did not cover was the Kiwi win.

No... the way I see it is there is a lot more then three possibilities. Like Australia winning easily, Australia completely destroying New Zealand, Australia winning with difficulty, Australia winning a close and tough game... etc. Same for New Zealand.
I picked draw or Australia beating New Zealand badly.

Ameer

I am not having a go at you, the context I was trying to convey in my original post was that 24 hours ago the Kiwis were still in the game , and now thay are thrashed. And your quote and the othe persons was that of the general feeling 24 hours earlier.

14 wickets in first two days, so every possibility there would be result. Stat wise NZ is lesser but 353 is not bad score and vital thing is 4th innings belongs to Aus, so Aus would not be free from fear…
Hindsight is a wonderful thing , who would have thought the above quotes related to the same match that we witnessed the pathetic capitulation of the Kiwi's over the past 24 hours.
NZ has been surrendered like any thing. What they could say regarding their batting collapse? Combined they are not enough to even beat the 10th wkt partnership of Aus. Poor forecasting like me!

Being a big fan of both the Kiwis and the Wallabies- i was kinda disappointed by the outcome of the match. I was expecting a better show by the Kiwis- but they are missing some key players like Shane Bond, Ian Butler, Lou Vincent(NZ A-team), Daryl Tuffey, Matthew Bell, Dion Nash- who all played major roles in their last venture in AussieLand!
But no matter what Australia now are a league of their own- and you can't even criticise them- they're playing proper cricket and are not being favored by the umpires or conditions, they're just outplaying, outthinking their opponents!
I hope the rest of the series turn out to be exciting and more closely competitive matches!
What do you guys think about the whole "walking" incident? I actually have always been a "walker" - just that i don't agree to promote my views about this matter! I think it should be left to the individual themselves!

Did you see Gillespies celebration. McGrath deserved man of the match. Awesome knock. New Zealand is so crap.
