so the first guy i'm intruiged about is the pacer Emon Ahmed. it seems he's been bowling well in the DPL and has hit and injured Imrul. i believe he's a left armer...does anyone have any other info about him? the essential info being height/build, demeanor, pace, and skills (swing, seam, accuracy, etc).

I was also going to point Emon Ahmed.
He has pace and his action looks nice. He is young and already made in the team like MSC.

Not much in the upper chamber. You follow with a yorker after shortballs. That is how you get wickets. He got belted around and eventually could not stop from losing.

emon ahmed hasn't got a particularly good FC record, though it's not absolutely horrible in terms of the average. i think even at this point anyone who can regularly bowl 130kph+ needs to be picked up as a potential national prospect and really worked with properly by the good people and coaches.
there are heaps of prospects though e.g. nasir hossain, nazmus sadat, marshall ayub, sajidul islam, dolar, shabbir rahman, mahmudul hasan, anamul haque, ariful haque, saqlain sajib, nabil samad, saju datta, subashis roy, delwar hossain, mahbubul karim, shamsur rahman, s shuvo, mithun ali. that's off the top of my head, i'm sure there are plenty i've missed.

Pacer Shumon Shaha
Rony Talukdar
Arafat Sunny
Yasir Arafat
Bowler Shaker(Is it Shekhar?) Ahmed from the U-19
I want to pay close attention to keeper-batsman Dhiman Ghosh, see if he improved or how good he really is.

yeah shaker ahmed i think is one to keep an eye on. who is kamrul hasan? don't think i've heard of him. agree with dhiman, he had good keeping skills and was a reasonable domestic batsman before he left for ICL, he could put some pressure on rahim (along with mitun and saghir).

also there is nazmul hossain milon, and uttam sarkar and gazi salahuddin were good prospects a couple of years ago, but they haven't done too much in the last couple of seasons.
there is a kamrul hasan but not the greatest record:
http://search.cricinfo.com/ci/conten...er/226511.html
but there are also a few kamrul islam's, perhaps you were thinking of one of them.
forgot robiul islam the bowler, saiket ali, and nadimuddin the keeper batsman.

its kind of hard to judge these upcoming players based on just numbers. other than some occasional newspaper articles the only other reliable information we have is from the BC members in Bangladesh who follow the domestic season closely and sometimes share their input. and the only time we get live coverage is when U-19 team tours other test nations. like the U-19 tour of England gave me a chance to see a lot of players play live on tv, i read about them before, but now at least i have a little more idea about them. i hope some day in the near future Desh tv and other channels will telecast at least some of the domestic matches if not all.

Nasir Hossain from Abahani in DPL-
I'm noticing his performance from last year DPL- Right-arm off-break and Right-hand lower order batsman. I'm guessing he is a bowling allrounder and has a very good prospect. He also played for Barisal Divison (FC) and U-19 team.
His last year DPL - 50 over match stat:
Batting
M I Nt runs hs avg 100 50
13 12 3 237 66 26.33 0 1
Bowling and Fielding
balls mdns runs wkts best avg 4WI 5WI SR Econ Ct
594 3 365 15 4-34 24.33 1 0 39.60 3.68 6

nasir hossain has been a hot prospect from a very young age, i remember he was being talked about from when i first joined this forum in 2007 and he's not 18 yet. so far his list A record is great, FC record isn't as good but he's very young and i think he'll develop into a fine allrounder, no doubt in 3 or so years he will be fighting with the likes of shakib, naeem, riyad, shuvo and possibly mahmudul hasan for the spinning allrounder slots in the national team.

Anyway here is my Guess:
-Marshall Ayub
-Anamul Haque from U19
-Mahmudul Hasan from U19(pure all-rounder)
-Shakar Ahmed from U19 (SLA bowler...his quickest delivery is 76MPH, which is faster than our Rassel )
-Nur Hossain from U19
-Sabbir Ahmed from U19

Watch out for Allauddin Babu and Abul Hasan Raju from u-19 team. I hope both of them train hard and become very good fast bowlers in coming future.

I think Suman Shaha is the next emerging player, this tall bowler can hopefully give some bouncers.
