Don't tell me the scorecard was wrong ? It was Ash who scored the 70+ not Imrul. Ash had to invite the the scorer to his home and served him bigger fish than one he served Tendulkar. (Conspiracy Theory)

Red VS Green was a good initiative, but BCB could have done a few more things to ensure that the players get the best out of it.
* They should have pitted the national team front line bowling attack in one team and the front line batsmen in the other.
* They could have organized another 4 day match instead of the T20.
Overall a good initiative, it's better to play against our A team rather than spending 100,000s and bringing a foreign A team in and playing them in Mirpur.

why not?..a aus or sa A team is much stronger than our A team..match would have been more competitive..zim did it and the result showed against us..also they did well vs pak despite losing the series

Also, why is Tamim/Imrul's 77/75 looked at as good knocks, where Raqibul's 72 is looked at as a poor one and goes almost unmentioned, and also includes the saying "matro 4ta four"? No wonder we suck at tests, not even our reporters like players who like to play test in its original mood.

The main reason I think it's better to play against our A team is because our fringe players get the taste of better opposition. So it is beneficiary for all the 22 playing and benefits our cricket as a whole.
Whereas playing against Aus/SAF A team would only do good to our national team. Depends on what the BCB's preferences are, I would rather have 50 decent players than have 5 outstanding players in the system.

And second reason; we are good in Maths, can't you see we are bursting our heart out to justify that, 2 more average is like a difference of class between players, as if there is no other factors to consider. So, TI/IK scores are clearly 3-5 more than ROK ... ((Joke)
IMO, the main reason is, ROK's one was "one single innings" in quiet a few outings and the other two played like this for at least twice or more... It's the constancy and form. ROK doesn't give an impression that he is in any good form yet.
But I agree with you, counting 4s isn't the correct mindset for judging players for longer version. ROK has a good attitude for longer version, but, it's his technique, sometimes he just looks out of this world and specially under pressure he loses everything. But I haven't yet lost my hope on him, I think we need to support his attitude and encourage him and he could turn into a silent performer in test cricket.
His resignation, shows that he has a lack of patience also. You cant live in this world if you are so reactive and that too so early in career. He needs to dig in deep and hang in their and keep improving and wait for his time.
