Default BCB will investigate reason of defeat in Zimbabwe Test

There is no need for an investigation. Lack of preparation due to extremely poor planning.

Maybe, they are the one who needs to be investigated. Why did they refuse the practice match to avoid paying money? Why haven't we played test matches in 14 months? Why did we cancel the two test series vs NZ prior to WC? Why is our domestic cricket in shambles? Where are all the money going? and who is lining their pocket? I know the money is not being spent to develop pitches, infrastructure, domestic cricket.

Thats good BCB will investigate. Its clear to me:
1.You con not expect a good test result if you play only 4/5 FC matches in a year.
2.If you dont give importance to something how can you expect good result from there.

A big group of blood sucking idiots are running BCB. We probably all know what will be the report of the investigation. Everybody including the new coach will be responsible in the report except BCB directors.

Why need to investigate? We all know who is responsible. BCB didn't agree to pay extra for an additional practice match and as the former cricketers are saying BCB didn't gave this tour that much importance. They thought 2 practice games with the academy team is enough but apparently it wasn't.

investigate Lotus before investigating anything else. Find out why on earth he was so busy with world cup and didnt focus on the development of the game? Investigate how people with no cricket background gets to occupy high positions in BCB. Investigate what's taking so long for preparing sporting wicket. Investigate why BCB didnt take actions against Tamim, Mash, Shak for violating team's rules and regulation..Find out the real cause and take proper actions..you'll be amazed to see that you dont even have to investigate the test loss...

Good. Hopefully by then politics will be out of cricket (the ICC will intervene if it doesn't by next year).

I did flag all this up ages ago: http://www.banglacricket.com/alochon...ad.php?t=37735 yet some people on that thread didn't appear bothered....

Bangladesh has not played a Test Match for more than a year. With just 30 odd days to go until they embark on an important Test Series, away from home, they are still yet to even start batting, bowling or fielding in practice.

There has been no 4 -day cricket let alone 5-day Test matches recently either. Shakib is playing T20 (and a few 4-days), Tamim is only playing T20 as preparation for Test Matches. No other player is even playing any form of cricket.

Zimbabwe by contrast have been in their National Cricket Training camp (not fitness camp) for more than a month. They are well prepared and well drilled to made a big impression back into Test cricket. The entire nation realises the importance of this series.

My fear is that there has been no regard for the series in Zimbabwe and the players will be underprepared and lacking in any sort of match practice. Law doesn't arrive to coach until a week or two before they leave.

If Bangladesh LOSE the Test series to Zimbabwe it will be a complete disaster. Anything less than a full comprehensive win in the series for Bangladesh will set things back badly. Am I the only one who has worries over this?

Why wasting money? Here is the report.

1) Zimbabwe had better players than BD in every department
2) BD batsmen were overconfident (specially Tamim)
3) BD bowlers slow bowlers are one-dimensional (SLA galore) and speedsters lack endurance and accuracy
4) BD fielders were day dreaming about biriayani and gosht while on the field (lack of concentration)

That just about sums it.

Zimbabwe's fast bowlers were so much more aggressive than BD, they ran in every ball as Wasim Akram says. Only Rubel was the most impressive of the BD bowlers.
