Looks like toss will be the vital part for the tomorrow test ..Riad gotta win it for Bd to stop srilankan 40% chances here... batting in a 5th day pitch in mirpur is a suicidal situations for the batters..even 150 Chase will be very difficult to chase,
I’m confident, Riad will win it... because he started with good luck , will end up like that.
Sabbir need to in for mosaddek, razzak will be back for sure ... naim might play for sure ...
Bd will be pumped up for this test .... just luck need to help us... go tigers

Why sabbir over mosa? Mosa’s FC average is nearly 65, what’s sabbir’s? And what has sabbir done to be picked over mosa recently?

I'm actually shocked at the fact that you're responding to a post from that guy.

I was told that Imrul has improved but even at his peak he is performing poorly.

Instead, we should give oppurtunities to youngsters like Anamul, Shadman, Shanto, Zakir instead of Imrul who is a perennial underperformer and even his recent performance suggests so.

Because Sabbir knows how to block and can hit the ball hard .... mosaddek kinda shaky after long back , but Sabbir coming from de ja vu ... one more chance for him , might given life changer game from him ... we need something ,where is no fear which Sabbir carrying.... mosaddek can stays in the squad, but to win against srilanka in a final test ... need something special...
Nothing against mosaddek, but we need 100% click each and everyone from the squad to beat srilankan haturi side ....

From Daily Star -

Quote:
According to sources close to the team, the Tigers are eyeing a result in the second Test. If they really want to play for a win, the inclusion of a second seamer to add variety to an attack weakened by Shakib's absence may be the way to go. With Mustafizur playing the role of the attacking seamer, Kamrul Islam Rabbi can be the workhorse as he has the ability to bowl long spells both with new ball and old.

Mosaddek Hossain, making a comeback in Chittagong after a lengthy absence due to an eye problem, was dismissed in an ugly fashion in the first innings of that Test when he came charging to left-arm spinner Rangana Herath at a crucial moment, and he may have to make way for Sabbir.

Veteran left-arm spinner Abdur Razzak is unlikely to make a late-career Test comeback. Sunzamul's exclusion opens up a space and the players in the running seem to be Razzak, Rabbi and Nayeem Hasan -- the 17-year-old off-spinner who may be a left-field selection along the lines of Mehedi when he was blooded against England in October 2016 with great results.
It will be unfortunate if Mosaddek pays for his one bolodami, to make way for Sabbir who is a way bigger bolod!

Dropping Mosaddek would be a ridiculous thing to do. Sabbir should not be picked in the side even ahead of Miraz on batting virtue alone.

Mosaddek will also be handy as a spinner

Doubt Chacah and the senior players are foolish enough to take a weak player of spin (Sabbir who reverse sweeps everything) over a very good player of spin (Musa) on a turning pitch designed to get a result.

Two pacers must for better balance of variety. Rabbi comes in obviously.

Tamim
Kayes
Mominul
Liton
Mushy (wk)
Mosadekk
Mahmudullah (cpt)
Miraz
Rabbi
Naeem
Mustafiz

I’d go with this above. Naeem why? Suprise them, they’ve not seen much of him. Lack miraz had a great break through. Who knows this kid might do well. Taijul great for bowling millions of overs but he isnt the type of bowling that’ll take wickets against SL who have seen enough of him, etc. Naeem will be something out of the blue.

But am also tempted to go with Taijul, another bowler, and take Mosadekk out. If it’s going to be spin friendly then need another spinner. Mossadekk can bowl, but theres lot right handers in SL? Anyway I’d just leave mossa play Taijul then. Without Taijul, theres 4genuine bowlers, and mossa+mullah part timers. Can’t go with 4front line bowlers at test. Maybe need another bowler.

Prothom Alo is predicting that Sir sabbir will place instead of Masaddek. Ruined my mood completely.

Our selectors have become a psychotic joke. Hathu withdrawal. Sanjamul's debut, Razzak's recall. Infatuation with hacks like Sabbir.
Mosaddek is too good of a technically sound player to not groom. Sabbir is better suited for ODI/T20. Mosaddek deserves another chance in tests. this move may be costly.
