Ashraful should have been given a chance ahead of Rajin. Ashraful can be handy to accelerate the run rate in the middle order which Rajin cannot do.

It's a good eleven chosen by "Janakantha"

Derbyshire may be in form but they are one of the weakest team in the county .

Derby team is pretty much their first selection minus dangerman Di Vinuto, an Aussie ex-international

ash is becoming another rokon fast.. and selectors r doing the same thing all over again.. drop him and bring him back just like rokon and distroy him 2.... ash should be dropped for long period and at that time period he should be given thousands of recorded cricket games to watch and come here to BC so that he develops his crickting knowledge...

We must watch out for Di Venuto. He averages 33 in OD matches (is this what List A means on Cricinfo).

Yeh, that could be another left-handed smacking for Bangladesh. But, fortunately, even derbys are not sadistic enough to play him against our team. Cheers

Do you think so? I don’t. I understand where are you coming from. But Rockon has given so many chances in the past. But he couldn’t come back. But Ash is not like that. He showed what he can do after he came back from the break. I don’t think it’s not a bad idea to give him a break for a match. He will be in the team in the next match anyway. I hope he will do better this time. I’m a little disappointed the way he played after the India series till now. Let’s hope for the best. After all he got two centuries in test match. But what about Rockon? Does it make any difference? Question to you all…….

I think most of the Bangladeshi players are overrated. They simply do not have enough experience to perform consistently well at international matches. So don't expect them to do much during the ODIs.

They are not overrated but overdiscussed in terms of their "potential talent" although personally, I think most of the bd players lack basic cricketing skills such as they do not know where is the off stump.
It has been a while but i do not see they are improving a lot. they were exposed to harmison and co. bowling in bd and same thing happened here in england. if we are claiming to be improving ,things should not be repeated.

Well said.
He will pick up basic cricketing knowledge here quickly, then will start getting confused by contradicting posts and ultimately will run away viewing severe 'Ash-bashing"
