Killers of Sheikh Mujib hanged
35 years after the killing of the Father of the Nation Bongobondhu Sheikh Mujibor Rahman, justice has been served to those who deserved to be punished.
The verdict has been executed and already 2 of them, Mohiuddin and Bozlul Huda already hanged in Dhaka Central Jail.
Justice delayed, but not denied.
Thanks to this govt for finally carrying out the much awaited justice.

we (young generations) may not have witnessed/ participate in our great victory in 1971 but at least we could console ourselves that We the new generations were able to serve the justice of our founder of the nation, Bangobondhu SK MOJIBUR RAHMAN !

Please reconsider your post. I knew three in that horrific incident who are gone forever. I am ready to forgive once they are caught, realises their mistakes and ask forgiveness but I am not sure the wives and children and rest of the nation would want that.
And yes, we don't want just the BDR soldiers brought in to justice but also the masterminds and who aided them.

I hope this is not another long list of Sheikh Mujib thread that gets blocked because of some haters who has nothing better to do with their life other than to start bashing the great man with every oppurtunity and as a result start another political war between AL and BNP( while all those taking side still claims to be neutral....yeah right)....
btw....Justice served...Thank God

It was much needed for the sake of our future rather than for our past (to get even).
I hope in future we would think twice before trying to go this short cut methods by claiming all innocent victims (in the 1975 incident) as casuality of war in the name of "just cause". There is nothing vcalled "just cause" when innocent victimes are killed involuntarily.
This justice was overdue and is needed for our country to move forward. The nation waited patiently 35 years for the closure, and due process was followed avoiding "quick and dirty" process....and in the end justice was done.
Now that the standard has been set, I hope pursue all other kllings with stong hand and make a closure one after another. Its needed for the country to heal and move forward.

sigh... Mizan bhai, who knows when we'll ever get to know who was actually masterminding that, and hence the term '35 years' (but ofcourse I dont wish that it takes that long) ....
but one justice can be guaranteed for the perpetrators, the final judgment of the Almighty.......

JUSTICE HAS BEEN SERVED!
I have been waiting for this day, and I'm sure everyother Bangladeshi has too.
When i woke up not so long ago and watched the news, I must say it pleased me. Sheik Hasina will now somewhat feel better knowing that the killers of her father are now no longer in tis world. It's amazing how she copes with what she's been through. I can't imagine how much it would hurt knowing that your whole family has been killed, including your 10 year old brother!!! How crule people can be! It digusts me.
btw arn't there still like 5/6 killers who are still wanted?

I am a HUGE opponent of capital punishment.
But I hope this ends a terrible chapter of Bangladesh history, and that we can move forward and meet (much more) challenging issues that face our country in present times.
