tharanga run out and now Southee snares the danger man Dilshan....SL 19-2.

they should be able to restrict SL to a manageble total...a NZ win today will guarantee that we play QF at home, should we qualify.

Come on New Zealand!!!! A New Zealand win will ensure whoever finishes top of group B takes on Sri Lanka at home!!! In that case South Africa will go into the match against us knowing that IF THEY BEAT BANGLADESH THEY WILL FACE SRI LANKA AT HOME! ... Really doubt South Africa would want that! COME ON NEW ZEALAND!!!!!

Amish Saheba, the third umpire made the stupidiest decision I have ever seen. He is another umpire who deserve to be sacked only on the basis of this decision.

The way he paced his innings was remarkable.

strange looking scorecard. if you take out 3 players, the rest of the team contributed a paltry 47 runs.

it's better for us if NZ win this. they're currently 67-2 off 14 overs. come on NZ don't choke!

WC ki mama bari r abdaar?

NZ knows that they would lose if they come to Mirpur (again) and face us. So trying to lose deliberately.

6 down for nz

that means regardless of the aus-pak result sl will finish 2nd and if we qualify we'll finish 3nd regardless of ind-wi result.

there's no chance of us beating sl in sl so is there any point of even qualifying to the qf?

we've got a much better chance of beating aus or nz in bangladesh than sl in sl.

2 qfs in Dhaka and Bangladesh won't even play in either of them. What a shame!

i am actualy surprised that a host team progressing to the QF isnt guaranteed to play it in their home ground.
it would have been ridiculous for SL to have to play in Dhaka while someone else plays in Colombo, and now we will have 4 teams in Dhaka but Bangladesh (if we win against SA) playing in Colombo
