Default Mark Richardson, it\'s never his fault.

excuses excuses.
he always seems to have an excuse for his mediocre batting performaces.
when he fails against BD, it's because Bangladesh aren't good enough, when he fails aganst the Aussies, it's because they get "mentally exhausted"
has it ever dawned on him that he and some of his comrades might just be average players?
despite being in the test fold for countless years,
despite having some fine players like their skipper, Daniel Vettori, and others, they still get skittled out for just 76 odd runs.
where is that guy who said that the ICC should pull the plug on Bangladesh.
what was his name? Jonathan Millmow or something. where is this nincompoop now, is he calling for NZ to be put in to a different tier to Australia or have NZ stripped of their test status. i dont think so somehow.
it's not that i get upset when people criticise Bangladesh all the time, in fact most of us BD fans are the most vocal critics, but what i cannot stand is when most of them jump on to the same bandwagon of questioning our test status.
fools.

I believe Mark Richardson knows that he needs to transition to a different job if he was dropped from the team, like writing for BBC. Wasn't there another guy in the English team who was writing and eventually got dropped from the team? The average and the below average folks in the likes of M. Richardson need to find an alternative career. I give him the BOD (Benefit of Doubt). I hope he begins polishing his writing a bit more though.

Richardson shouldn't have agitated so many B'deshi ppl! I am sure he's biting his tongue as he's watching his collection of pirated DVDs!

He's just a whiner... he doesn't realise that he is not good himself, he's just average... at best. All he does is make excuses, never praises the other team or admits he or NZ performed badly.

cmon guys, i don't think he's as bad a batsman as you sound him to be! Yes, he did say that BD wasn't a quality team- but he didn't attack any player in particular. There are millions of ppl out there who are saying the same thing about BD's performance- we can't bash them all- besides we ourselves criticise our own player's performance. I think we should give him a break- show a little sportsman spirit!
Let our actions be louder than our words!

your'e right that he is not always a bad batsman, but he is a bad sportsman, as he seems to love apportioning blame.
anyway, i have had my rant, so i will give him a break at you request chyicarus.

Honestly speaking, I feel pity for Richardson. They way he is playing nowadays, he won’t visit subcontinent next time with NZ cricket team. He will surely miss those pirated DVD’s.

“On a personal low note, the only thing I’ll be remembered for in Australia is stupidity,” Mark Richardson .

He probably wont play the ODIs as he is too fat and slow to be in the ODI team.
