You have read the headlines right. And no, its not that we are the world champions nor the test champions.

In fact, we are the champions of batting collapses and of LOSERS. No matter how much potential there is, a team has to show for its potentials sometime and win a match or two here and there.

But unfortunately, we have none. Furthermore, we have no glorious records of the past to show for our potential.

The only comforts that we have been witnessing thus far, is some excitement for us - fans when our team achieves a lead of 100 runs in this test match, a lead in one innings at all in the last test match - these little things.

On the other hand, our players are young, and they can learn from their mistakes. It is only a matter of time that they will get past their horrifying experieces of defeats and actually start to hate the defeats.

So far, our lower order is not showing that they are starting to hate the tremendous number of losses. Our upper order and middle order are not consistent enough in test match cricket.

Our team is in disarray in one day cricket also. The last one day series against Australia was a nightmare to most of us. Our coach is still new to the boys and vice versa, nobody knows what is the right combination for us in one day cricket.

And it is a well known fact that winning in a 50 over match is much easier than in the longer version of the game. It closes the gap between the two teams.

In context of the current test match in Multan, Alok Kapali will have a big test ahead of him. His character and his passion for the game as well as the country will be once again tested, with the knowledge in mind that he was hurt pretty badly.

Our tail has to find the batting form that they were in during Bangladesh's maiden test match against India. Scoring 400 is not easy when only one or two batsman performs their job tremendously well and nobody else helps.

The team has to click as a team, only then can we achieve something, if not a draw or an impossible victory. And when everybody performs to their best, then we can hope to achieve something like that, not before.
